【記者林重鎣台中報導】鄰近山區的台中太平福隆里東方大鎮社區，廿八日傳出蛇隻入侵民宅庭院事件，嚇壞鄰里住戶，里長黃楷能據報夥同助理前往順利補捉，解除一場危機。他強調，今年東方大鎮社區已經發生4件蛇隻竄入，呼籲鄉親不要在庭院堆積雜物，避免吸引爬蟲類動物出入，確保社區安全。
黃楷能上午接獲東方大鎮社區反映，有條大蛇竄進住家庭院，要求協助捉拿。黃楷能據報後夥同助理持拿捕蛇夾前往，在前後包抄下，順利在空心磚中將這條「臭青母」補捉到手，經提起觀察發現長達190公分，比黃楷能身高還高，有些嚇人。
黃楷能指出，今年東方大鎮社區已經傳出4條蛇隻竄入事件，分別是1隻臭青母、3隻錦蛇，其中3隻被他們合力制伏，1隻由民眾自行捕獲，目前捉蛇業務是由市府農業局委託民間業者負責，不過業者據報趕來要花費1、2個小時，根本緩不濟急，因此都由他夥同助理前往處理，必要時聯絡當地消防局派員協助。
